Thomas Joseph Bross

August 12, 1954 - April 8, 2024

 
 

Thomas Joseph Bross passed away suddenly on Monday, April 8, 2024 while vacationing in Nashville, Tennessee.  He was 69.  Born in Trenton, New Jersey, son of the late Milton and Theresa (nee Dugan) Bross, he was raised in Groveville, New Jersey, and has been a Morrisville resident for the past 39 years.  Thomas was a graduate of Steinert High School in Hamilton, New Jersey.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Napa Auto Parts for 21 years, and before that, he was employed at American Standard in Trenton for 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, and loved his cats.  He also enjoyed listening to country music, and especially loved going to concerts. Thomas traveled extensively throughout the United States and other countries, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joyce Ann (nee Chmiel) Bross, his two daughters, Stephanie Bross (Kevin McCloskey) and Melissa Bross, his brother, Stephen Bross (April), and his sisters, Karen Ungerer (Gene Stroh) and Mary Anne Hjelmfelt (Trevor).  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Carter Hjelmfelt, Gabby Rendek (Derek Jablonski) and their son, Jack Jablonski, Shannon Forsthoffer (Tim), and Nicholas Stroh, as well as many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 10:00am until 12:00 noon at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Audubon Society, Attn: Donations, 225 Varick St, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10014.
