William J. Blaney passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at his home in Croydon. He was 88 years old. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Vincent and Florence (nee Howe) Blaney, he was a resident of Croydon for the past 52 years. Mr. Blaney was a graduate of North Catholic High School and a United States Army veteran. He was self-employed as a Public Adjuster. He enjoyed cooking, going to the racetrack, and was an avid sports fan, and he especially enjoyed family vacations in Wildwood, New Jersey. He loved spending time with his Blaney Family.

Husband of the late Joanne Elizabeth (nee McLaughlin) Blaney; he is survived by his loving daughters, Kimberly Weist and her husband, Donald, Catherine Kane and her husband, James, and Kristie Gahagan and her husband, Kevin. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Christopher, Morgan (Jaymie), Jordyn, Andrew, Taylor, Jimmy, Kyle, Ryan, Kellyn, and Maddie; and his two great-grandsons, Liam and Vincent. He is also survived by two brothers, Michael Blaney (the late Christine) and Joseph Blaney (Judy); and two sisters, Patricia McShane and Catherine Cogan (John); along with many nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. He was also predeceased by one brother, Gerald (Rose).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, April 24, 2026, 11am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. Friends may call from 9am until the time of service at the funeral home.
