Vida V. Wilkinson

Vida V. Wilkinson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at her home. She was 98 years old. Born in Bristol, daughter of the late David and Elizabeth (nee Simonson) Mulholland, she was a lifelong Bristol Borough resident. Mrs. Wilkinson was a graduate of Bristol High School, Class of 1945. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Secretary for the Guidance Department at Bristol High School for 21 years, where she was affectionately know as “Vida Blue”. She enjoyed collecting antiques and pig figurines, was an avid reader, and loved her dogs, especially her beloved Corgi Samantha (Sam).

Wife of the late Elmer Wilkinson, she is survived by her children, Donna Shirtcliffe and her husband, Donald, Richard Wilkinson and his wife, Stacie, and Diane Waxmonsky and her husband, Henry. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Tracy Tueton, Michael Shirtcliffe, Matthew Shirtcliffe, Allison Shirtcliffe, Kelly Weir and her husband, Fred, Ryan Wilkinson and his wife, Danielle, Sean Wilkinson, and Carl Waxmonsky. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilkinson was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Hoppock, and her brother, Wayne Mulholland.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Friday, October 3, 2025, 10am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Bristol Cemetery. Friends may pay respects to the family on Friday morning from 9-10am at the funeral home.
