Timothy Collier died peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2026. He was born in Philadelphia in 1947 and grew up in Levittown. A graduate of Neshaminy High School, he served in the US Army from 1966-68, deploying to Vietnam in 1968.
After his honorable discharge from the Army, he worked at the US Steel Mill in Fairless Hills and retired as a letter carrier with the US Postal Service. His life was saved by organ donation. His heart transplant gifted him an additional thirty years to live. He was a longtime member of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in Bristol.
He was the loving father of his four children, Todd (Jennifer), Shane (Kelly), Mark, and Siobhan (Joseph) Hartman, and loving Grand “Pop” of five grandchildren, Emily, Justin, Teagan, Joseph, and Shea. He is also survived by his brother Andrew and sisters, Patricia, Frances and Margaret. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Anne as well as brothers, Joseph and Robert.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Thursday, September 17, 2026, 11:30am at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 1:30pm. Friends may call from 10:30-11:30am at St. Mark Church.
