Thomas C. Holden, III

Thomas C. Holden, III passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Temple Lung University Hospital after a brief stay.  He was 64.  Born in Bristol, son of the late Thomas C. Jr. and Geraldine Holden, he was raised in the North Park section of Levittown and especially loved his friends and neighbors on Nightingale Lane. He has since been a Fairless Hills resident for the past 35 years, a parishioner of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Tom was a known staple in his community. He was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, Class of 1975 and was employed for over 20 years as a Mortgage Consultant for NewRez Mortgage Lenders.

He is survived by the “The Holden Girls”.

He will be greatly missed by the love of his life, best friend, and wife of 35 years, JoAnn Engel Holden and his pride and joy, his 4 beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn Holden (Karolis), Alixandra Holden (Highly in Demand), Erika Holden (Stephen) and Makenzie Holden (Daddy’s Girl Forever). He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Darlene Scanlon (Ray), Colleen Stemme and Joanne McCaughey along with nieces, nephews, his many beloved cousins, countless friends and his daughter’s friends.  They were all like children that he truly considered to be his own.

Tommy Holden, or “Big Fun” is remembered for being exactly that. He was genuinely always happy and making everyone smile. He was a true family man and he built a beautiful life founded on love, positivity and laughter. Tommy was a devoted husband and absolutely adored Jo and made sure she knew it every day. He was the most selfless and dedicated Dad. He was so proud of his girls and there is a piece of him in each of them.  Mr. Holden was a true hero and role model for the young men in his life exemplifying the type of Dad they want to be (He had so many “sons”). He was a loyal friend and you always knew how much he cared. He was a figure in the life of everyone who was lucky to know him and will leave an absolutely devastating void. He was sunshine. He was laughter. He was friendship. He was love. He was home.
