Obituary

Thomas Paul Burke passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 89 years old. Born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, son of the late Thomas and Marie (nee Delaney) Burke, he has been a Bensalem resident for the past 31 years. Mr. Burke was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He was employed as a Chemical Operator at Rohm & Haas, retiring after many years of service. He enjoyed going to the casinos, reading, and listening to cowboy music. He was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family.

Predeceased by his son, Gary David Burke, he is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Dorothy (nee Long) Burke, and his loving daughters, Donna Burke and Diane Burke. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Julia Burke (Michael), Jennifer Truskin (Brett), and Gary Burke, Jr. (Stephanie), his brothers-in-law, James Long, Frank Long (Carole), and Jerry Long, and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Eugene Burke (Bernice) and Joseph Burke (Marie), his sister, Marie Smith (Walter), his daughter-in-law, Regina Burke, his mother-in-law, Jennie Long, and his sister-in-law, Joan Coughlin (Frank).

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 9:15-10:15am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. His Funeral Service will follow at 10:15am. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made by check to Dorothy Burke.
