Terence Aloysius Wright, a devoted father, loving husband, and selfless servant to others, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was 66 years old. Born into a busting family of 14 brothers and sisters, Terence carried the values of loyalty, hard work, and love throughout his life. His boundless energy, passion for athletics, and dedication to his family and community left an undeniably mark on those who knew him.
A man of strength and determination, Terence's love for wrestling and Notre Dame football was unmatched. Whether cheering on the Fighting Irish or sharing stories of his own athletic triumphs, his enthusiasm was contagious. Yet beyond sports, his greatest joy came from serving others, particularly the elderly, whom he treated with unwavering kindness and respect.
Above all, Terence cherished his role as a father to Danny and Alyssa and as a doting grandfather to Penelope. His love for his children knew no bounds and he took immense pride in watching them grow. His marriage to Jennifer was a testament to enduring love, partnership, and faith.
Terence was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sunny Wright, and his siblings, Patsy Rappo, Johnny Wright, Michael Wright, Patrick Wright, Tommy Wright, Kathleen Morrison, Erin Wright, and Danny Wright. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer, his children, Danny (Phoebe) and Alyssa, his granddaughter, Penelope, and his remaining siblings, who will forever hold his memory close.
A Celebration of Terence's Life will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, beginning with a viewing from 9-10:45am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, private.
Terence's legacy of love, strength, and generosity will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.
