Susan K. Pirollo passed away suddenly at her home on Monday, April 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 72 years old. Born in Zieglerville, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late W. Leon and Pearl Mae (nee Scheffey) Gaugler, she was a resident of Bristol for the past 53 years. Susan was employed at Amtrak, Rohm & Haas, and most recently, as a Quality Lab Technician at Arkema in Bristol. She was a dedicated member of St. Ann Church, and found great joy in spending time at her summer home in Ocean City, New Jersey with her husband and family. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her grandchildren, whether at the beach, riding bikes, or attending their sporting events and activities. She was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, George Pirollo, and her loving children, Theresa Lawless (Christian) and Michael Pirollo (Paul White). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as "Ma", Morgan Lawless, Sydney Lawless, and Matteo Pirollo, and her devoted fur baby, Elsa. She is also survived by her brother, Mark Gaugler; her aunt, Mary Latella; her brothers-in-law, Albert Pirollo (Stacy), Robert Pirollo (Dona), and Anthony Pirollo; and her sister-in-law, Jennifer Pirollo; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Amy Lynn Pirollo; her sister, Linda Webber; her brother, Barry Gaugler; her in-laws, Larry and Lena (nee Latella) Pirollo; and her brother-in-law, Fred Pirollo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, 11am at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol Borough. Interment will be held privately. Friends may pay respects from 10-11am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lab Rescue LRCP at lab-rescue.org.
