Stephen "Beaver" Harris passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. He was 85 years old. Born at Dr. Wagner's Hospital in Bristol, son of the late Louis and Anna (nee Johnson) Harris, he was a lifelong Bristol resident. Beaver was a graduate of Bristol High School, Class of 1959, and was a United States Army Veteran. He was employed for many years in the Accounting Department at Rohm & Haas and, after retirement, worked as a Courier for the Lower Bucks Hospital Radiology Department. He was an avid baseball fan, especially of the old Philadelphia A's. Beaver also enjoyed horse racing, and in later years, loved taking rides around Bristol Borough. He was a member of the Bristol Moose Lodge #1169, Bristol Elks Lodge #970, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Michael Dougherty Division 1, and the American Legion.
Predeceased by his wife, Marina Lattanzi Harris; he is survived by three brothers, David Harris (the late Jeanne), Bruce Harris (Christine), and Tommy Harris (Pat); one sister, Jeannie Phillips (Stan); his step-daughter, Vicki Lattanzi (Tony Carango); along with many nieces and nephews, and his beloved caretaker, Latasha Bell. He was also predeceased by his best friend, Larry Warren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 10:00am until 12 noon, followed by his Memorial Service beginning at noon, at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment will follow at St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery in Bristol Borough.
