Rosemary Besack, 82, of Bristol, PA passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025 at Jefferson Hospital in Langhorne, PA. Rose, as she was known by all, was born in Mahanoy City, PA in 1943 and later moved to Bristol, PA where she graduated from Bishop Egan HS. She met and married John A. Besack and they began their life and created their family together.
Rose is survived by her three children, John J (Christine), Karen, Dawn and her grandchildren Sarah (Andrew) and Hannah (Michael). She is also survived by her sisters Theresa Keuper and Barbara McLaren, along with her brother-in-law, Anthony Ragucci in addition to many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna Pollack, her brother, Joseph Pollack, her brothers-in-law Thomas Keuper, Charles McLaren, George Besack and his wife Colliene, her sister-in-law Regina Ragucci, and her nephew Phillip McLaren.
Rose took pride in her role as a homemaker, stay at home mother, and caregiver. Her daughter Dawn was the focus of her life. Family and friendships were extremely important to her. Traditions like Christmas Holy Supper and the Kop(t)cho Family Reunion held great meaning throughout her life.
Rose had a quiet strength and strong faith that guided her throughout her life, and a willingness to help others always. She will truly be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, September 26, 2025, 10:30am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark’s Cemetery, Croydon, PA. Friends may pay respects from 10-10:30am at the Church.
