Robert William
Molnar, Jr. "Bobby"
May 17, 1962 – May 5, 2026
Robert William Molnar Jr., affectionately known as "Bobby", passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, surrounded by the loving presence of his family.
A lifelong resident of Bristol Borough, Bobby was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and lasting memories to all who knew him. He cherished his family deeply and held a special place in the lives of many. He was the heart behind the camera in our family, capturing and producing home videos that will forever keep our most precious moments alive.
Bobby found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a passionate sports fan who proudly cheered on Philadelphia teams, though those closest to him knew he quietly held a soft spot for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He loved bringing people together, especially during the annual Bristol Borough Christmas Parade, where his home became a gathering place filled with laughter and tradition.
He treasured time spent at Penn Warner Lake, whether fishing, sharing a cold Budweiser with close friends, or enjoying the peace of nature. Camping trips to Promised Land, Pennsylvania, were among his favorite escapes. Bobby also had a deep love for animals, reflecting his kind and loyal spirit.
Known for calling everyone "Bubb," Bobby had a signature charm that was uniquely his own, including his memorable voicemail messages and his oft-repeated phrase, "Here's the deal." Though particular in his ways, his heart was generous, and his love for his family was unwavering. In return, he was loved beyond measure.
Bobby was also a faithful supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, reflecting his compassion and generosity toward others.
Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved partner, Becky Tressler, his father, Robert William Molnar Sr., his sister, Diane Molnar, and his brother-in-law, Richard Bowman.
He is survived by his loving mother, MaryAnn Molnar; his sisters, Susan Bowman, Joanne Molnar (Chuck Simmers), and Lee Ann Molnar (Rob Morin); his nephews, Richard Bowman Jr. (Makenna), Robert Pirollo (Sarah), Zachary Bowman, and Harry Chambers; his great-niece, Lorelai Pirollo; his great-nephews, Greyson Bowman and Deacon Bowman; and his loyal dog, Casey.
In accordance with Bobby's wishes, there will be no formal services. His family asks that he be remembered fondly—through shared stories, laughter, and the enduring love he leaves behind.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Rest in peace, "Bubb."
