Robert Frank Konyves

Robert Frank Konyves passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at his home in Croydon. He was 75 years old. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Kalman and Elizabeth (nee Wolf) Konyves, he was a Croydon resident for most of his life. Robert was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and Bucks County Technical School, Class of 1969. Upon graduation Bob worked for Jesco, Victor's and Profy's appliance repair companies. As a young husband and father he chose to start his own business, and after some 30 years retired from that successful venture. His honesty and integrity gained him many lifelong customers and friends. He also served as an Instructor in Appliance Repair at the Bucks County Technical School.

Bob was a cub and boy scout leader with Pack 2 and was an Elder at Bristol Presbyterian Church. Bob loved building things from raw wood, having harvested much of it himself. Many family members have been gifted and cherish his handiwork. Bob was most comfortable performing and entertaining people with his skilled guitar playing and beautiful voice. He played with many bands through the years at local bars, VFW's, the Bristol Moose, banquets and weddings. Loving every minute of it! Bob also played and sang at Bristol Presbyterian and First United Methodist Church which gave him the opportunity to profess his strong faith in Jesus his Saviour.

Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, father, poppee and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda (nee Lynde) Konyves, his children, Benjamin Konyves and his wife, Michelle, Adam Konyves and his wife, Amy, Erik Konyves and his wife, Theresa, and Sarah Konyves (William O'Neill). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Marlene Hanson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, June 28, 2025, 11am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call from 9am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to a charity of one's choice.
