Richard Goulding passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Langhorne. He was 90 years old. Born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, son of the late John and Marie (nee Forester) Goulding, he was a Levittown resident for the past 65 years. Richard was employed at U.S. Steel as a Machinist for 35 years, retiring in 1990. After retirement, he was a Local Registrar, serving funeral directors in the Lower Bucks County area for many years. Richard was a community leader serving as Falls Township Supervisor and Chairman. Richard was a United States Army Veteran. Hand picked by the military during the Korean war he was enrolled in an elite language school and trained in counterintelligence.

Richard enjoyed cruising with his wife, Arlene, relatives and friends. He also enjoyed his home in Chincoteague, VA. He had many happy memories on the bay fishing, crabbing and boating with his family. Whether on sea or land he was the captain of his ship.

Richard was talented with his hands working with wood, remodeling his home, or fixing his car.

A loyal fan despite the outlook of every Pittsburgh Steelers season, Richard was optimistic about the likelihood of a Superbowl win. A Yinzer through and through.

Richard's kindness, generosity, and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Predeceased by his wife, Arlene T. (nee Bechter) Goulding, and his son, Richard T. Goulding; he is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl Szogi and her husband, Frank, and Lynn Hanes; his two grandchildren, Jessica Hanes and Kyle Hanes; his brother, John Goulding and his wife, Cathie; along with several nieces and nephews.
