Patrick Joseph Wooley

May 3, 1957 — September 14, 2025

Langhorne

Patrick Joseph Wooley, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, died peacefully on September 14, 2025, at Penn Hospital in hospice care, after bravely facing leukemia for 10 months. He was 68.

Pat was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania, on May 3, 1957, to Mary Eckert Wooley and Joseph Wooley, Jr. He grew up in Levittown, PA, later resided in Elkhart, Indiana, for 21 years before returning to Langhorne, PA, in 2014.

A proud 1975 graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Pat went on to earn his degree in English and American Literature from Brown University in 1979.

Pat built a distinguished 31-year career with Hydro Aluminum, where he was an esteemed leader and trusted mentor who valued honesty and integrity in all professional relationships. He retired in May 2024 as Director of Sales.

A devoted father to four children, Pat considered his family his greatest treasure. He took immense pride in sharing their stories and celebrating their accomplishments.

Pat was kind, loving, loyal, and full of life. He was quick to share a joke, a story, or a great song, and his warm, friendly nature turned co-workers into family, strangers into friends, and even rival fans into companions bound by mutual admiration.

A lifelong lover of Philadelphia sports and loyal supporter of the Fighting Irish, he was a devoted “subway alumnus” of the University of Notre Dame, attending more than 200 football games.

Pat is survived by his four children: daughters Mary of Columbia, SC, and Catherine of Brooklyn, NY (Shaun); sons Joseph and Daniel of Langhorne, PA; his cherished grandson Hayes of Columbia, SC; many nieces and nephews, as well as his best friend since first grade Henry Booth. He is also survived by his four siblings: brother Thomas J. Profy III (Elaine) of Newtown, PA, sisters Constance Ciricolo (John) of Pennington, NJ, Kathleen Collins (Skip) of Centre Hall, PA, and Maureen Coughlin of Langhorne, PA. All of whom he loved dearly and whose presence brought great joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 31 years and love of his life, Jean Moser Wooley; his parents, Mary Eckert Wooley and Joseph Wooley, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, David and Shirley Moser.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, 10am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery.
