Mary Townsend

Mary Townsend passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025. She was 103 years old. Born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, daughter of the late Frank E. and Viola (nee Heck) Leahy, she was a longtime Levittown resident prior to moving to Fairless Hills and, most recently, Doylestown. She was employed as a Clerk at ETS for many years. Mrs. Townsend was an avid reader and Philadelphia Phillies fan, loved to crochet, and enjoyed making hats for prematurely-born babies.

Predeceased by her husbands, Arthur Geiges and Ralph Townsend, and her great-grandson, Cameron Harth, she is survived by her two daughters, Linda Taylor and Barbara Mazzocchi (Bruce Slager), her grandchildren, Bernard Mazzocchi IV, Briana Lafferty (Mike), Rachel Harth, James Harth (Kayla), Brett Mazzocchi (Jeanette), and Brendon Mazzocchi; and her great-grandchildren, Ariana Lafferty, Bernard Mazzocchi V, Gianna Mazzocchi, Liam Mazzocchi, and Jaxson Harth. She is also survived by one sister, Gertrude Schiavone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Friday, June 27, 2025, 11:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Lawnview Cemetery. Friends may call from 10am until time of service at the funeral home.
