Marciala Velez

Marciala "Chela" Velez passed away suddenly on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Lower Bucks Hospital. She was 79 years old. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Manuel Lugo Lopez and Rosalía Rivera Roman, she was a Bristol Township resident for the past 56 years. Mrs. Velez enjoyed crafting, cooking, and fishing. She also loved music, and enjoyed singing and playing Spanish instruments.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Israel Maldonado Velez, and is survived by her three sons, Israel Velez Lugo, Angel Manuel Velez (Ivey), and Jose Luis Velez (Yvette Baltazar). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Carlos, Joshua, and Elyssa Baltazar, Jose Jr., Onorio, and Gabriella Velez, Chelsea Collazo, and Rey Vazquez, and her great-grandchildren, Juliana, Laila, Joshua Jr., Isabella, Lilliana, Leo, Ada, Eleni, and Gaius. She is also survived by one sister, Isabel Borrero Gonzalez.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 27, 2025, 11am at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. Friends may pay respects from 9:30-11am at the Church.
