Obituary

Linda Carol Trimble, a loving, vibrant, and deeply devoted mother, Oma, and great-Oma, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2026, at her home in Bristol, Pennsylvania. She was 75 years young. Linda was born on a snowy February morning at 2:00 a.m. in Parkersburg, West Virginia—a fittingly unique beginning for a woman whose life would be filled with warmth, creativity, and quiet strength.

The beloved daughter of the late Alvin Boyd and Maria Margaretha Thaler Trimble, Linda made her home in Bristol Township for more than 50 years, where she built a life centered on family, kindness, and simple joys. She dedicated many years of service as a culinary associate and food service worker at Lower Bucks Hospital, where her caring nature and strong work ethic touched both colleagues and patients alike.

Linda was a woman of many passions and gentle talents. She was an exceptional baker, still fondly remembered for her delicious, homemade chocolate chip cookies that brought comfort and smiles to everyone lucky enough to enjoy them. She had a patient and creative spirit, expressed through her beautiful counted cross-stitch pieces—lovingly crafted keepsakes for her grandchildren that will be treasured for generations.

She found joy in life’s quieter pleasures as well—spending peaceful days reading, challenging herself with the hardest Sudoku puzzles she could find, and soaking in the sun and serenity of Island Beach State Park, a place she held close to her heart. Linda had a deep love for animals and a nurturing soul that extended to all living things.

Above all, Linda’s greatest passion was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, finding immense joy in their laughter, milestones, and presence. Her love for them was boundless, steady, and unwavering.

Linda was the beloved wife of the late Charles Nathaniel Brown. She is survived by her devoted daughter, April Brown and her husband, Jerald Lawery; and her son, Nathaniel James Brown. She will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren: Joleya Lawery (Jaishon Moore), Nycole Miller (Wanel Pierre), and Vita Tote (Daniel); as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Leylani, Wynter, Syrena, Jaycion, and soon-to-arrive Milan.

She is also survived by her loving sisters, Ann Denison (Kit) and Ramona Balsley (Randy), and was predeceased by her brother, Wayne Trimble. Linda leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment will be private.

Linda’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, resilience, and quiet joy. She will be remembered always for her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and the deep love she gave so freely to those around her.
