June Marie Risley

June Marie Risley passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Ann's Choice, Warminster. She was 79 years old. Born in Burlington, New Jersey, daughter of the late John and Alberta McGee, she was a resident of the Edgely Section of Bristol Township for over 40 years and has resided at Ann's Choice for the past 3 years. June was employed as a register nurse for many years which she thoroughly enjoyed. June loved to cook for family, friends and those in need and she had an endless supply of Tupperware containers (always another bag of them in the basement) to send food home with you, and YOU were taking some home with you. June loved boating, the beach and traveling, with her husband, Jim, and was always there to lend a helping hand.

Wife of the late James A. Risley, Sr.; she is survived by her children, Elizabeth Hendry, Daniel Risley (Angie), and James Risley, Jr. (Hazelyne); along with her six grandchildren, Ian Hendry (Madeline), Matthew Hendry (Kim), Sophie Risley, Meghan Herbold (Paul), and Sarah Risley; she was also known as Mommom to honorary daughters, Lauren Schmidt (Bryce Buchowicz), Caitlyn Gerlach (Steve, Ruby and Ellie), Kristen Mury (Thomas and Rory June) who were Daughters of Kathy and Larry Schmidt. She is also survived by her nieces, Coleen (Amanda and Bethany), Maura (Joe, Makaela, Makensie, Mollie), Cindy (Mark), Dawn; and her nephews, Sean (Keli, John, Seannie, Megan), Charles (Linda). She was also predeceased by two brothers, Fred McGee and William McGee, son Jimmy and nephew William McGee. She will be missed by many other family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, June 5, 2025, 11am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington, NJ. Friends may call from 9:30-11am at the funeral home. There will also be a short memorial service at Ann’s Choice in the Chapel on June 6, 2025 from 1-2 pm.
