Judith A. Slaymaker passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 24, 2025. She was 87 years old. Born in Bristol, daughter of the late Edwin and Mildred (nee Aikens) Moore, she was a lifelong Bristol resident. Mrs. Slaymaker was a graduate of Del Haas High School. Prior to raising her family, she worked as a Teller for PNB Bank, and later, was employed for 25 years at Estee Lauder in Bristol Township. She enjoyed vacationing in Brigantine, visiting the Poconos, and sitting on the porch at her son's house in Virginia. She also enjoyed going to the casinos in Atlantic City, and later, Parx Casino.
Wife of the late Melvin F. Slaymaker and mother of the late David H. Slaymaker; she is survived by her two sons, Steven Slaymaker and his wife, Barbra, and Scott Slaymaker and his wife, Chris. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, David H. Slaymaker and his wife, Lisa, Tyler Slaymaker, Jennifer Slaymaker, and Kaitlyn Slaymaker, and her great-granddaughter, Gemma.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Slaymaker's daughter-in-law, Barbra, for her extraordinary care and comfort offered to Judith over her later years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service for Melvin and Judith on Saturday, December 13, 2025, 11am at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
