Joyce A. Smoyer passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 12, 2026 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 85 years old. Born and raised in Bristol, daughter of the late Francis and Gertrude (nee Hanson) Craven, she was a Yardley resident for the past 50 years. Mrs. Smoyer was a graduate of Bristol High School and was employed in the Finance Department at GMAC, retiring after over 40 years of service. She was a lifelong member of St. James Episcopal Church in Bristol, and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 62 years, Howard Smoyer, her sister-in-law, Judith A. Craven, her nephew, Jeffrey David Craven, and her niece, Amy Whitworth-Aliff. She was predeceased by her sister, Elaine Whitworth, and her brother, David Francis Craven.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, June 18, 2026, 11am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Bristol Cemetery. Friends may call from 9am until time of service.
