Joseph Nicholas D'Emidio of Bristol, PA, passed away on November 10, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Born on September 28, 1924 to the late Gabriel D'Emidio and Pasqualena (Vattimo), he was a Bristol Borough resident for over 11 decades. He was a graduate of Bristol High School, Armstrong Flooring School, The Dale Carnegie Institute of Public Speaking, and recently attended Bucks County Community College where he studied painting.

Joe's journey in life was not without tragedy. After his mother passed away when he was just 5 years old, he was raised by his grandparents, Guiseppie and Maria Vattimo, and he formed a strong bond with many aunts and uncles. It was in these surroundings where he learned the benefits of hard work, love, and laughter.

After enlisting in the U.S. Navy, Joe proudly served in WWIl with the Amphibious Landing Craft Unit. He served his country bravely during the Normandy Invasion (Operation Overlord) and was honorably discharged at the war's conclusion. When the war ended, Joe attended floor covering school under the Gl Bill. In 1952, he established Cameo Kitchens and Baths and attained the title of Certified Kitchen Designer in 1967. Under Joe's leadership, Cameo Kitchens was regarded as one of the finest home remodeling businesses within the region. Joe retired when he was 86 years old.

Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his first wife, Theresa (Angelini), his brothers, Ben, Arthur, Carl, Eugene, and his sister, Sophie. Joe is survived by his children, Joseph (MaryLou), Dyan, and David (Mary Kate). Joe will be deeply missed by his wife of 31 years, Jeanne (Galli) and her children, Donna Marie, Paul, Carmella (John), Michael, and Walter (Kim). His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren, Timothy (Emily), Matthew, Christine, Jennifer (Trevor), Olivia (Cameron), Russell (Jennie), Dustin (Season), Kendra, Patrick, Krysta, Spencer (Morgan), Samantha, Nanceen, Anthony, and Cam, and his great-granddaughter, Lucia.

He was a true renaissance man who showed his expertise and knowledge in many fields. Aside from being an entrepreneur, master flooring covering mechanic, and kitchen design specialist, over the years he mastered many skills which included blackjack (21), wood carvings, antique auto restoration, painting, scale model building, camping, fish pond design, furniture restoration, harmonica playing, physical fitness, and square & round dancing. Joe was a founding member of the 3rd District Fire Company in Bristol Township. He was also a long time member and past President of the Bristol Lions Club.

Joe led an extraordinary life and showed love and compassion to everyone he came in contact with and dedicated himself to live by Jesus' teachings. He lived by the motto "Got To Keep Moving" and was universally loved by everyone.
