John R. Francis

John R. Francis passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Lower Bucks Hospital. He was 67 years old. Born in Bristol, he was predeceased by his father, Joseph John Francis, his mother and stepfather, Cecilia and Joseph Singleton, and his daughter, Jennifer Francis. John lived most of his life in Bensalem and Bristol. He was a graduate of Bensalem High School, Class of 1978, where he played on the soccer team. John was employed as a Truck Driver at Thackray Crane and was a member of the Teamsters Union for 47 years. He was a true patriot who loved God, his country, and his neighbors. He was proud of his Native American heritage and was a member of the Wintu Tribe in Northern California. John was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching MeTV, especially Westerns.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (nee Colwell) Francis; his children, Samantha Francis and John Francis, Jr. (Kristen); and five grandchildren: Lily Bean, Noah, Madisen, Charlotte, and Leah. He is also survived by four sisters, Tina Maloney (Bob), Lisa Koziel (Frank), CeCe Woolerton (EJ), and Maureen Kulp (Joe); and one brother, Robert Francis (Kelly), along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 11am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GoFundMe in memory of John.
