Joan Kilgore

Joan Kilgore passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at her home. She was 83 years old. Born and raised in Bristol, daughter of the late Benjamin and Grace (nee Murphy) Praul, she was a Levittown resident for the past 61 years. Mrs. Kilgore was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Class of 1960, and was employed as a Data Entry Supervisor for the State of New Jersey for 25 years. She enjoyed going on vacation, especially cruises, reading, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Earl Raymond Kilgore, and her children, Carl Kilgore (Mair), Thomas Kilgore (Marie), Brian Kilgore (Holly), Sean Kilgore (Lauren), Shannon Brooks (John), and Megan Kilgore. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, April, Ashley, Madison, Riley, Jett, Rita, Grace, Dane, Laila, Kage, Christopher, and Devyn, and her great-grandchildren, Cali, Demi, Brody, Joey, Enzo, Remington, Shaelyn, and Everly. She is also survived by three brothers, James Praul, Francis Praul, and John Praul.

She was predeceased by her son, Mark Kilgore, her sister, Marie Glessner, and her brothers, Edward Praul and Michael Praul.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 10am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown. Interment, Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. Her viewing hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 7-9:00pm and on Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:15am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
