Jean T. Kagel

Jean T. (nee Christian) Kagel passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Croydon. She was 78. Born in Philadelphia, on January 22, 1944, daughter of the late Carl and Mary (nee Opranski) Christian, she was a longtime Croydon resident.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Kagel, Jr., her grandson, Paul C. Gosline, III, and her brother, Louis Christian, she is survived by her son, Harry G. Kagel, III, (Denise), her daughter, Colleen Gosline (Paul), her grand-daughter, Jessica Blackshire (Michael) and great-grand-daughters, Aubree Tees and Charlee Blackshire. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Donna Jackiewicz (Rich) and Joyce Esenwein and 2 brothers, Carl Christian (Linda) and Mickey Christian (Bobbi) along with many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to family friend, Colleen Leonard, and the staff at Compassus Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Jean.

The family will receive Relatives and Friends on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 9:30am until her Memorial Service at 11:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
