Jean Riordan

Jean Riordan passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Crestview Center, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was 88 years old. Born in Croydon, daughter of the late Sidney "Sid" and Helen (nee Steer) Rigby, she was a Croydon and Bristol resident for all of her life. Mrs. Riordan worked as a Solderer at Barker-Williamson. She enjoyed coloring and loved animals, especially her dog, Porsha.

She is survived by her children, Laura Young (Jim) and William "Bill" Sedgwick (Carol), five granddaughters, Jeanann Grunert, Gwen Grunert (Jacenya), Amber Young (Devon), Christine Louderback (TJ), and Rachel McGuinness (Joey), along with nine great-grandchildren, one sister, Joann Kohler, and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Sidney Rigby and Robert Rigby, and two sisters, Helen Lehr and Kathleen "Kate" Cumberbatch.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Friday, May 2, 2025, 11:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Friends may pay respects from 10-11:30am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
