James P. Martino passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Langhorne. He was 78 years old. Raised in Tullytown, son of the late Frank, Sr. and Mary (nee Gilardi) Martino, he was a lifelong resident of Lakeside section of Levittown. Mr. Martino retired over a decade ago as the Superintendent of the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority (LBCJMA). In his earlier years he enjoyed collecting antiques, and often visited flea markets, yard sales and attended auctions. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife of 58 years, Barbara, and his dog, Lupe.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Martino; his sons, James Martino, Jr. and his wife, Vera, Jason Martino and his wife, Zane, and Jeremy Martino (Cheryl Gemerek); and his grandchildren, J.D., Emily, Lillian, Ashley, and Jeremy, Jr., along with his many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother, Robert "Bob" Martino, and his sister, Loretta (nee Martino) Coia. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Charles “Charlie” Martino and Frank Martino, Jr, and his sister, Antoinette (nee Martino) Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 9:00am - 11:00am, followed by a Service at 11:00am, at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment will follow at Tullytown Cemetery.
