Obituary

Harry Crohe passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at his home. He was 79 years old. Born in Bristol, he was a lifelong Bristol Borough resident. Harry was a United States Navy Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War and receiving the Vietnam Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He was employed for many years for Bucks County Emergency Management. Harry had a lifelong love for his hometown of Bristol Borough, where he volunteered for many different organizations. He was a Lifetime Member of Bristol Fire Company, Station 50, was an active member of Bristol Fire Company, Station 25, and a Lifetime Member of Bucks County Rescue Squad—serving for 53 years. Harry was the last paid fireman in Bristol Borough. He loved spending time at his shore house with his wife and family, and spending time with his many friends. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine (nee Ehmann) Crohe; his daughter, Donna Edmondson and her husband, Robert; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother, Ruth Crohe, his brother, Donald Crohe, his son, Christopher Cramp, and his grandsons, Thomas and David Cramp.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, August 29, 2026, 5pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. His viewing will be held from 3pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NAMI Bucks County at namibuckspa.org.
