Grace C. Ghantt passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was 92 years old. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late George A. and Pearl (nee Long) Manley, she was a West Bristol resident for many years prior to moving to Susquehanna in 2005 and returned to Croydon in 2017. Grace began her career at Philco, followed by the Slip Factory in Bristol, and finally, at Maro Electronics in Bristol. She cherished time spent with her family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grace was predeceased by her husband, Robert Clinton Ghantt, and her children, Cheryl Ann Ghantt, Rosemarie Ghantt, Patrick Ghantt, and Mary Elizabeth Ghantt; she is survived by her loving children, Winifred Jenkins and her husband, Paul, Grace Lynn Brennan, Robert C. Ghantt and his wife, Kimberlee, Lillian Strimel, Michael J. Ghantt and his wife, Jill, and Thomas Ghantt. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Lindsay Cuevas (Dan), Leslie Smith (Alex), Kristin Lee Ghantt (Jason), Kaitlyn Thomashefsky (Jason), Carolann Olivero, Mark T. Brennan (Melissa), Steven R. Brennan (Andrea), Hillary Ghantt (Jim), Robert Strimel, Patrick Ghantt (and fiancée Alix), and Danielle Mondelli (Megan), along with numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, George Manley, her sister, Winifred Scenna, and her sister-in-law, Nancy Ritterson, along with many nieces and nephews, all of whom were dear to her. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Rosemarie Houser and Dolores Bonatelli.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Wednesday evening, August 20, 2025 from 7-9:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday morning, August 21, 2025, 10:30am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Croydon. Interment will follow at Bristol Cemetery. There will be no calling hours on Thursday morning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Ave. Suite 1100 N Bethesda, MD 20814.
