Fred Wayne Vandenberg

Fred Wayne Vandenberg passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at his home. He was 82 years old. Born in Bristol, son of the late George B. and Doris (nee Nelson) Vandenberg, he was a lifelong Bristol resident. Mr. Vandenberg was employed as an Operating Engineer for many years. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, scuba diving, and was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. He was always there to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors, and will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, and Pop-Pop.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Jean (nee Scott) Vandenberg, and his children, Fred Wayne Vandenberg and his wife, Gloria Galante, Brian Scott Vandenberg, Robert Lyon and his wife, Karen, and Alison Brennan. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Amanda Jackson (Matt), Samuel Vandenberg, Christian Cioa, Connor Lyon, Timothy Brennan, and Sean Brennan, and his great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Roman, and Marlowe.

Funeral Services will be held privately under the direction of the Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
