Emma L. Jordan

Emma L. Jordan, 90, of Bensalem, PA and Lehigh Acres, FL passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Emma was the widow of Thomas R. Jordan II. She was born in Mount Pleasant, PA, daughter of John and Elsie (Sisco) Loetzbeier. Emma graduated from Scottdale High School in 1952 and South Side Hospital's School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1955.

Emma was married to the love of her life for 61 years. Emma enjoyed her life as a wife, mother, and nurse. She worked as a registered nurse and I.V. Therapist at Lower Bucks Hospital for 23 years. She participated in the Nurse's Health Study at Channing Laboratory at Harvard Medical School from 1976 - 2019. Emma enjoyed teaching clinical practicum to student nurses at Lower Bucks Hospital. She took many oncology and chemotherapy courses to learn the most she could about helping her patients.

Emma is survived by her children, Thomas (Joann) Jordan, John Jordan, Marjorie (Joseph) Ostrowski, and Frederick (Janet) Jordan. She is survived by her grandchildren Jenni (Bryan) Root, Michael (Leslie) Jordan, Jessica Jordan, Emma (Sean) Marks, Frederick (Danielle) Jordan, and Joseph Ostrowski. In addition, she is survived by her great-grandchildren Gavin Jordan, Blake Jordan and Brydon Jordan, along with two nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Loetzbeier and sister Marjorie Bakken Scott.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, December 2, 2023, 12 noon at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call 10:30 am - 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bucks County Community College Foundation to honor the legacy of Emma Jordan.
