David Otto DuBois passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 66 years old. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, son of the late Louis Edward and Helen Hope DuBois, he was a Bristol area resident for most of his life. David was a graduate of DelHaas High School and Levittown Beauty Academy, and worked as a hairstylist for many years. He enjoyed nature walks, the opera, and was a talented artist, but above all, he cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his loving siblings, Sandra Hope Ashcroft-DuBois; Frank Richard DuBois, and Louis W. DuBois; and will be sadly missed by his devoted nieces and nephews, Desiree Hope Stancil, Ryan Bruce Stancil Sr., Mia Aimee Johnson-DuBois, Kayla Johnson-DuBois, Breionna Hope Laws, Zahkeldrick Jishawn Hunt, Victoria Viashia Ballard, Joshayla Joziree Newkirk, Lena Aryah Howard, Daryah Angel Stancil, Amiah Monae Moore, Isaiah Shamar Wilson, Ryan Bruce Stancil Jr., Amavi Tevon Mercer, Payde Jishawn Hunt, Pilar Sevyn Hunt, and Taznim Kash DuBois-Steed. He was also predeceased by his brother, Michael Edward DuBois.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 5-7pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol. At 6pm, there will be a sermon followed by a time of sharing memories. Interment will be held privately.
