David Albright passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. He was 67 years old. Born in Bristol, son of the late Ned S. and Anna May (nee Carman) Albright, he was a lifelong Bristol Borough resident. Dave was a graduate of Bristol High School, Class of 1975, and Pennco Tech. He was a Machinist, employed by Tecomet. Dave was a member of America Hose, Hook and Ladder Company No. 2, Station 25 for over 50 years, where he served in many roles, including Past Chief and Past President. He was also the Deputy Fire Chief of Bristol Borough from 1989 until 2006. He was an avid Alabama Football fan, and enjoyed woodworking and doing home projects.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna (nee Gattelli) Albright; and will be sadly missed by his children, Staci Kline and her husband, Bill, and David Albright, Jr. and his wife, Carrie; and his grandchildren, Analiza, Enzo, Noma, and Nolan. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Bidlingmaier and her husband, Andy; his brother, William Albright and his wife, Julie; and his nieces and nephews, Casey Steele (Steve), Kyle Bidlingmaier, Alex Albright, Justin Albright, and Marissa Albright.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Monday, September 8, 2025, 11am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm and on Monday morning from 10-11 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 or St. Mark Parish, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007.
