Obituary

With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Darlene Joy Havens, a woman whose strength, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family defined her life. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with those she loved so dearly.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Havens; her daughter, Tracce Lynn Havens; her granddaughter, Kamryn Skye Jackson; her parents; two brothers; and one sister.

To know Darlene was to know unconditional love. She was strong, resilient, and fiercely devoted to her family. Life tested her many times, but she faced every challenge with courage and determination. She was ornery in the most lovable way, never afraid to speak her mind, and her laughter, wisdom, and stubborn spirit will be deeply missed.

She leaves behind her daughters, Tammy Lynn Havens and Krystal Marie Slack (née Havens); her son-in-law, Darren Slack; her beloved grandson and “best buddy,” Greyson William Slack; her cherished grandchildren, Anthony Sierra and Savana Sierra; her precious great-granddaughter, Ella Rose Francescangeli; her brother, her sister, and many nieces and nephews.

Mom was loved beyond measure. She showed us what faith, courage, and unconditional love truly look like. She fought harder than anyone we have ever known, and while we will miss her voice, her smile, her sass, and her unwavering love every day, we take comfort in knowing she is finally at peace.

Forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered. ❤️
