Christopher DeCaro passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 28, 2025 at his home. He was 53 years old. Born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, he was a Bristol resident for the past 30 years. Chris was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, and was a part of the Philadelphia Carpenter's Union for the last 23 years. He enjoyed woodworking, and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Alabama football.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bernadette (nee Weitzel), his children, Apryl, Christopher, Taylor, and Jacob, and his grandchildren, Dontaè and Madelyn. He will also be sadly missed by his mother, Carol Ann (nee Tillia) DeCaro, two sisters, Gina Borselli (Brad Brown) and Toni Pedersen, two brothers, Ernie DeCaro (Anna Marie), and Pat DeCaro (Michele). He is also survived by his in-laws, Dorothy Ann Rodgers (Bill), Joseph Weitzel, Helen Bolton (Bill), Catherine Rhoads (Dick), Rosemary Peters (Dean), Mary Claire Connelly (Jeff), and Theresa Gianos Mundie (Ian), along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chris was predeceased by his father, Ernest Michael DeCaro, and his in-laws, Dot and Jim Weitzel and Steven Gianos.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Friday, December 5, 2025, 11am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown. Interment, All Saints Cemetery, Newtown. Viewing hours will be held on Thursday evening from 6-9pm and on Friday morning from 9-10:15am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. If so inclined, the family would appreciate a written memory to add to their memory box of Chris, in lieu of flowers.
