Carol Andrews

January 14, 1955 — January 5, 2026

Bristol

Carol Andrews, 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Trenton, to the late Anthony and Mary Natale, Carol was a Landreth Manor resident for many years. Carol lived a life filled with devotion to family, friendship, and simple joys that brought happiness to her and those around her.

Carol was the beloved wife of John W. Andrews Jr., with whom she had 43 years of marriage built on love, partnership, and countless beautiful memories. Carol was the devoted mother of her sons, Sean (Jennifer) and Michael and his dear loving wife, Gina. Carol was the proud Grandmother to Ian, Amelia, Vienna, and Michael Jr. who brought immense joy into her life. Time spent with her grandchildren, who lovingly call her “YaYa” , was among her greatest treasures.

She will also be missed by her Sister-in-law, Agnes Heller, her Uncle Walt, her cousins, nieces and a nephew.

After Carol graduated from Pierce Junior College in Fashion, she spent her early career working in the retail Clothing business, starting as a young girl’s clothing department manager. Her next endeavor was to become a Store Manager at a specialty clothing store. Her following move was a Buyer for girl’s clothes which was a highlight of her career, as she spent many days in New York City. Later, Carol had her sons and she chose to work in the Welfare Office for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which enabled her to spend more time with her children. While there, she was able to help many of those less fortunate. Carol was also a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts.

Upon retirement, Carol and her husband, John, enjoyed going on cruises and road trips, and spending quality time at the Jersey Shore. Carol had a love of life’s pleasures—she was an expert at weekend yard sale shopping, a lover of casino outings, an avid bargain shopper and, most of all, enjoyed relaxing days at the beach with her husband. Carol loved long walks on the beach at sunset. Carol cherished times spent with her lifelong friends, Deb Peacock and Debbie Lawson whose friendship spans decades and meant the world to her.

She will be deeply missed by family and friends whose lives she touched through her warmth, humor, and generous spirit. Though Carol is no longer physically with us, her love, laughter and memories will live on in the hearts of all that knew and loved her. Carol will be remembered as a very caring person, always there to help anyone in need whether she knew them or not.

Relatives and friends are invited to say their final goodbye to Carol on Monday evening, January 12, 2026 from 7-9:00pm and on Tuesday morning, January 13, 2026 from 9:30-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
