Mary Teresa Wooley

Mary Teresa Wooley, a lifetime resident of Bristol and Levittown, Pa died surrounded by her family on October 26, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Wooley, Jr. She was the only daughter among four brothers to Harry and Mary Murphy Eckert. She was 91 years old, born on Leap Year Day in 1920.

Mary was a 1938 graduate of Bristol High School and was inducted into the Bristol High School Hall of Fame for her athletic accomplishments. She was a loyal member of the Notre Dame Subway Alumni, a Judge of Elections in both Bristol and Levittown for many years, and was an avid member of the Golden Marks and Levittown Seniors Club.

Mary was a proud mother to her five children, Thomas J. Profy, III (Elaine) of Upper Makefield; Connie Ciricolo (John) of Pennington, New Jersey; Kathleen W. Collins (John) of Washington, D.C.; Maureen Coughlin of Newtown; and Patrick T. Wooley (Jean) of Elkhart, Indiana. Mary is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, October 31, 2011,11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening 7-9:00pm and Monday morning 9:30-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
