Obituary Mary R. Duffy Mary R. Duffy, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at her home. Born in Bristol Borough, daughter of the late James and Ann Brogan Roche, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Duffy was a graduate of John Hallahan High School and Chestnut Hill College. She and her husband were the owners of Duffy’s Saddlery for over 35 years and prior to that worked with her Aunts at Brogan’s Dress Shop in Bristol. She was also a buyer for Blum Clothing Store in Philadelphia. Mrs. Duffy was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, St. Mark Court No. 1097. Wife of the late William J. Duffy, she is survived by her daughter, Merce Duffy (Holvin Velez). Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 8, 2011, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, Pa 19007. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery.
