Obituary Karen Ann Rowlands Karen Ann (Heck) Rowlands, a lifelong resident of Bristol, passed away at her residence after a courageous battle with ALS on 09/22/11 surrounded by her loving family and her pet Shaggy.  She was 48.  A 1981 graduate of Bishop Conwell, Karen was, as well as being a devoted wife & mother, a restaurant manager for over 32 years working locally for McDonald’s and Wendy’s. An avid Eagles’ and Phillies’s fan, she also loved skiing, soft ball, tennis and traveling with her husband.  She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and friend.  No matter what was asked of her she was always there.  Karen will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Preceded in death by her parents, Harry R., Sr. & Cecelia P. (Metz) Heck of Bristol, she will be honored in the memory of those who still shared her life.   Husband of 27 years:  Raymond G. Rowlands.  Three sons:  Grant Michael 24, Phillip Thomas 21, and Andrew Scott 20, all at home.  A sister & three brothers:  Cecelia, wife of John Ritchey, of Mountville PA; Harry (Russ) Heck of Burlington NJ; Bill Heck, and wife Sandy, of The Villages FL; Ron Heck, and wife Joan, of Waldorf MD.   Inlaws:  Grant & Diane (Conti) Rowlands of New Hope PA; Bill Rowlands of Levittown PA; Gina (Rowlands)  Cristy & husband Jeffrey K. Christy of New Hope PA; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough.  Interment, Resurrection Cemetery.  Friends may call Monday evening 7-9:00pm and Tuesday morning 9:30-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ALS Association, 321 Norristown Road, Ambler, Pa  19002-2755. www.wadefh.com
