James W. Snyder

James W. Snyder, age 54, of Edgely, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Cape May Regional Medical Center, Cape May, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, he has been an Edgely resident since 1986. Mr. Snyder was employed as a Construction Superintendent for many years. He loved spending time at the family home on Benny's Landing, Cape May Court House, NJ and enjoyed boating and fishing. He was very gifted with his hands and could fix anything. Mr. Snyder was president of St. Ann Home and School Assn for over 10 years and was President of Pirollo's Mummers Brigade.

He is survived by his loving wife, Felicia (nee Shegda) Snyder, 2 daughters, Marina Snyder and Natasha Snyder, 2 brothers, Robert Snyder (Betty) and Dennis Snyder (Nancy), 3 sisters, Regina Yost ( Michael), Marie Bennett (Butch), and Monica Giddings (Jonathan), his sister-and brother-in-law, Al and Stacy Pirollo, along with many nieces and nephews, especially Jonathan and his dog Cookie, who he rescured from Cape May County Shelter. Mr. Snyder was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Julia (nee Houghton) Snyder, and 2 sisters, Julie Foster and Madonna Ruzer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 9, 2011, 10:00am at St. Ann Church, Bristol Boro. Interment will be private. Friends may call Wednesday evening 7-9:00pm and Thursday morning 8:30-9:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family, for his children's education fund c/o the Wade Funeral Home.
