Francis J. Delia, Sr. Francis J. Delia, Sr. passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 70 years old. Born in Bristol, son of the late Francis and Rosemary Delia, he was a Bristol Borough resident his entire life. Mr. Delia was a graduate of Father Judge High School and retired from Rohm and Haas after 43 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and being on the computer. Mr. Delia was an avid sports fan, especially football and loved sitting on his front porch, talking with his neighbors. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Joan E. (nee Crosby) Delia, his loving children, Francis Delia, Jr., Michael Delia (Jason) and Joanmarie Delia, devoted grandfather of Elyse, Ashley Marie, Michael, Zachary, Kayla, Paige and Tori and 1 great-grand-daughter. He will be sadly missed by his best friends, Vince DiSalvo and Ed Kuzma. A celebration of his life will held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Assoc. of America, 625 West Ridge Pike, A100, Conshohocken, Pa 19428-0860. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
