Florence M. Pedersen Florence M. (nee Capinas) Pedersen passed away peacefully Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Sunrise at Floral Vale, Yardley. She was 79. Born in Ashley, Pa, she was a longtime resident of the Junewood section of Levittown, prior to moving to Whiting, NJ in 1997. Florence was one of the originators of the Junewood Women's Club and active with the El Hambra of the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph the Worker, Levittown. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Norman of 56 years. Florence is survived by her loving children, Beverly Dougherty and her husband William, of Phila., Norman Pedersen, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of W. Va. Christine Crouse, of Phila., Jacqueline Ridge, and her husband, Robert, of Levittown, Lorraine McCarthy and her husband, Douglas, of Oaklyn, NJ, and Erik Pedersen and his wife, Kimberly, of Edgely, devoted grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Doris Sherman (Paul) of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Karen Drozd (Al) Plymouth Meeting and 1 brother, Stephen Capinas (Ruth) of S.C. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, 10:00am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening 7-9:00pm and Wednesday morning 8:15-9:15am at the Wade Funeral Home 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Boro.
