Charles A. Ennis

Charles A. Ennis, age 66, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Bristol to the late Joseph and Loretta Ennis, he has been a lifelong resident. Mr. Ennis was a graduate of St. Mark School and Bishop Egan High School, Class of 1963. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran, serving 2 tours of duty in Vietnam between 1963 and 1967.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Ann (nee Spann) Ennis, his 8 children, Charles A. Ennis, Jr. and his wife, Lisa, Carrie Konnovitch and her husband, Stephen, Joseph P. Ennis, Bridget Shaw and her husband, Matthew, Rachel Ennis, Katherine Ennis, Theresa Ennis and William B. Ennis and his grandchildren, Tess (Theresa) Konnovitch, Stephen Konnovitch, Kelsey Ennis, Moriah Konnovitch, Leighann Ennis, Madelyn Shaw, Lily Konnovitch, Olivia Ennis, Morris Ivery, Nya Ivery, C.J. (Charles) Shaw and Dalton Shaw. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Lynn Merk (Frank), Maribeth Rodas, Patrick Ennis (Christine), and Erin Werner, his great-nieces and nephews, Abigail, Stephen, Nina, Megan and Matthew along with many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Ennis was predeceased by 1 sister, Loretta Levondosky and 1 brother, Buddy (Joseph) Ennis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 4, 2012, 10:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment will be held privately at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Friends may call this evening, Friday, February 3, 7-9:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. There will be no calling hours Saturday morning. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Mark School Endowment Fund, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, Pa 19007.
