Bruce P. Wilt

Bruce P. Wilt passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 65. Born in Philadelphia to Richard C. and Helen Wilt, Sr., he was a Penndel resident for most of his life and has resided in Abington for the past 9 years. Mr. Wilt was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a paratrooper/rigger in the Airborne Division from 1965 to 1969. He was the owner/operator of Atlas Paving Corporation and prior to that was employed as a mechanic at American Can and 3M Co. He was a very skilled handiman, who could fix anything, had an interest in large trucks and machinery and was dedicated to his business. Mr. Wilt was an avid boater, and loved his cats, Ruthie, Goldie, and Mid-Nite.

He is survived by his 2 children, Jennifer Wilt (Jay Davis) of Levittown and Bruce Wilt, Jr. (Joyce) of Bensalem, his loving partner of 21 years, Karen Wagner, 3 brothers, Richard Wilt, Jr., of Florida, Joseph C. Wilt of Fairless Hills, and Francis G. Wilt of Penndel. He is also survived by his former wife, Nancy Wilt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday,March 29, 2014, 2:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Str, Bristol Borough. Friends may call 1:00pm unti ltime of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Women's Humane Society, 3839 Richlieu Rd., Bensalem, Pa 19020.
