George C. Heath
Bristol Boro Resident

George C. Heath, age 87, passed away on May 5, 2007 at Silver Lake Nursing Home, Bristol.  Born in Bristol Boro, he has been a lifelong resident.  George attended St. Mark School and was a graduate of Bristol High School, Class of 1938.  He was a veteran of WWII and was a Sergeant in the Corp of Engineers, laying airstrips throughout Africa and Italy.  George was a bugler with the old Bracken Drum & Bugle Corp and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Bristol Council #906.

Son of the late George and Mary (nee Rafferty) Heath, husband of the late Florence Lynn Heath and brother of the late Peg Early, George is survived by 2 sisters, Isobel Arena of Tucson, Az. and Florence Mason of Croydon, 3 nieces, Jacqui Levy, Tucson, Az, Linda Early DePero, Levittown and Christa Boorman, Langhorne, 2 nephews, Jerry Mason, Croydon, Frank Early, Baltimore, MD, 1 great-niece, Misty Mason, Croydon and 1 great-nephew, Matthew Boorman, Langhorne.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Friday, May 11, 2007, 10:00am at St. Mark Church.   Interment, St. Mark Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday morning 8-9:45am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Str., Bristol Boro.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street Bristol, Pa  19007.  www.wadefh.com
