Obituary Elizabeth “Betty” Moore Bristol Boro Resident Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Johnson) Moore, age 83, of Bristol Boro, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at her home. Born in Mount Holly, NJ and raised in Bristol, she was a Levittown resident from 1952-1966, prior to moving back to Bristol. Mrs. Moore was a Bristol High School Graduate, Class of 1943 and was employed at Fleetwings, during WWII and later at the Bristol Theatre. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Sodality, Catholic Daughters of the America’s, Court St. Mark Bristol, the St. Thomas and Levittown Seniors, the Golden Marks, NARFE and was a teachers aide at St. Mark-Ephrem School. Mrs. Moore enjoyed bowling and will be remembered as always smiling and laughing and the life of a party. She is survived by her beloved husband, of 62 years, William Moore, her loving children; Patrick Moore and his wife, Kristine, of State College, Pa., Mary Kathleen Gedney and her husband, Henry of King of Prussia, Pa., Beth Ann Mulkeen and her husband, Michael of Fairless Hills, Pa., Michael William Moore and his wife, Susan of Yardley, Pa.., and Margaret Moore of Bristol. She was the devoted grandmother of Bridget, Ryan, Rory, Kaitlyn, Christina, Ashley, Patrick and Lindsay. Mrs. Moore is also survived by 1 sister-in-law, Leola Dante along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Elizabeth (nee Woods) Johnson, her son, William Leo Moore and her brother, Leo Johnson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 3, 2008, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, Pa 19007. Interment, private. Friends may call Saturday morning 9-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Boro.
