Garrison Erick Conley
“Gary”


Garrison Conley, age 38, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2008. He was a lifelong resident of Bristol and graduated from Bristol High School in 1987. Gary was employed by the State of New Jersey, Division of Pensions and Benefits since 1988. His lifelong dream was to become a major league baseball player, unfortunately due to a diagnosis of bone cancer in 1986, his dreams were not realized. Gary overcame many adversities in his life. He was an avid softball enthusiast and was very active with Little League and all sports activities with his son, Zachary.


Gary is survived by his wife, Mary Jo (nee Finley), and the love of his life, his son, Zachary. He is also survived by his mother, Ann (nee Capecci) Conley, his father, Gary Conley (Donna Armstrong) and his brother, Eric, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Frances Ferraro Fusco, paternal grandparents, Classie and Bruce Conley, his sister, Erica and his mother-in-law, Mary Finley.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 16, 2008, 10:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Boro. Interment, St Mark Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening 7-9:00pm and Saturday morning 8:30-9:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Boro. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Zachary Conley Scholarship Fund, c/o First Federal Savings and Loan, 118 Mill Street, Bristol, Pa 19007.
